FAQ’S

Have questions about Sea Legs Pedal Pub? We have answers!

Can we buy beer, sodas, snacks, etc at your location?
Yes! You may purchase snacks and refreshments from any several local stores, including the Scotchman across the street from the Municipal docks in Carolina Beach.
Where are you located?
Carolina Beach: Carolina Beach Municipal Docks, Carl Winner Dr. Carolina Beach, NC 28428
What time are your cruises?
Cruise times are dependent on the season. Click “Book Now” and choose your preferred date to see available times.
Are there any age restrictions?
No, there are no age restrictions. Please note, however, than on “Public Cruises” there may be alcohol-induced behaviors and music that is not appropriate for young children.
How long are the cruises?
Each cruise lasts 90 minutes, while the Thursday night Fireworks Cruise at Carolina Beach lasts 2 hours.
Who drives the boat?
We do! A skilled licensed captain will always pilot the boat, allowing for a safe trip and unlimited fun for each passenger.
Are bottles allowed? What types of beverages are allowed?
Bottles are no problem (we just ask that you be careful). Bring beer, wine, liquor, jello shots, or all of the above
What is the minimum number of people you will take?
The minimum number of guests is 4 per cruise to ensure there is enough “pedal power” to keep the pedal pub moving. Your credit card will not be charged until the minimum is met.
What is the maximum number of people you will take?
The maximum number of guests is 16. While the pedal pub can hold up to 16 guests, there are 10 pedal stations. The remaining guests can stand, sit or rotate in on a pedal seat with other guests.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations 72 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 48 and 72 hours will receive a full value voucher for a future cruise. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows will not receive a refund. Full refunds will be given if a trip is cancelled by SLPP due to dangerous weather.
Do we tip the crew?
Tips are not included in the price. If the crew adds value to your trip and you feel like tipping them, they would certainly appreciate your gratuity!
How hard is it to pedal the boat?
You pedal at your pace. We have the ability to make it easier or harder, and have a motor if necessary to help along the way.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
There are no bathroom facilities on the Pedal Pub, so we highly recommend using the bathroom prior to your cruise. There is a public bathroom at the Municipal Dock which can be used prior to or after your cruise.
What happens if it rains?
We travel rain or shine! Cruising the waterway on a cloudy or rainy day is no big deal, and we have a canopy to cover passengers!
Are dogs allowed?
We love our four-leged friends! For liability reasons, dogs are allowed when you book a private cruise.
